Where It Helps

When Pipe Shield Helps Most

Pipe Shield is about staying ahead of clogs — not clearing one that’s already there. It shines in these situations.

Kitchens

Grease-Prone Kitchen Lines

Kitchen drains that slowly build grease benefit most from regular preventive treatment.

Older Homes

Sluggish Older Drains

In older plumbing, a protective coat helps slow the buildup that ages pipes clog with.

Maintenance

After a Drain Cleaning

Treating a freshly cleared line is the best time to keep it flowing longer.

Commercial

Rentals & Light Commercial

Property managers use it to cut down on repeat service calls between tenants.

How It Works

Simple to Keep Up

No contracts, no fuss — just a cleaner-running drain.

1

Clear First if Needed

Pipe Shield is preventive — if there’s an active clog, we clear it first, then treat.

2

Treat the Line

We apply Pipe Shield during your service, or set you up with the right size to use at home.

3

Keep It Up

Re-treat on a simple schedule to keep grease and buildup from coming back.

Service has always been great. We have a scheduled clean out every 3 months and you guys are always on time. Roto-Rooter is who I call first.

Common Questions

Pipe Shield FAQs

Is Pipe Shield a subscription?
No. Every Pipe Shield touchpoint is a one-time purchase or application — buy a size that fits your needs or have your tech apply it during a service call.
What sizes does it come in?
Three: a 1-gallon (PSG, about 64 treatments), a 1-quart (PSQ, about 16 treatments), and a 4 oz single-use One-Shot (PS1S).
Where can I buy it?
Your technician can apply it during a service call, or you can pick it up at our Idaho Falls office.
Will Pipe Shield clear a clog I already have?
It’s preventive, not a clog remover. If you’ve got an active clog, we’ll clear the line first, then Pipe Shield helps keep it flowing.
