What Jetting Does

A Clean Pipe Wall, Not Just a Hole Punched Through

Cabling clears a path; hydro jetting scours the pipe wall clean. A high-pressure stream cuts through grease, scale, sludge, and roots and flushes them out — so the line stays clear longer. It’s ideal for recurring clogs and for commercial kitchens where grease builds up fast.

When to Call

When Jetting Is the Right Call

Snaking clears a clog; jetting cleans the whole pipe. These are the situations where jetting earns its keep.

Recurring

Snaking Didn’t Hold

If a line clogs again soon after cabling, jetting clears what cabling leaves behind on the pipe wall.

Grease

Slow or Smelly Kitchen Lines

Grease-coated commercial and kitchen lines drain slow and smell — jetting flushes them clean.

Commercial

Repeated Backups in a Building

Apartments, HOAs, and restaurants with recurring main-line backups benefit most from jetting.

Roots

Roots You’ve Cleared Before

Jetting cuts roots and flushes the debris out, buying far more time than a quick cable.

How It Works

Clean and Confirmed

We jet to the pipe wall and make sure it’s flowing freely before we pack up.

1

Diagnose the Line

We assess the line — and camera it when needed — to confirm jetting is the right call and the pipe can take it.

2

Jet It Clean

A high-pressure stream scours grease, scale, sludge, and roots off the pipe wall and flushes them downstream.

3

Confirm the Flow

We verify the line is flowing freely, and a camera pass can document the clean pipe when it matters.

Service has always been great. We have a scheduled clean out every 3 months and you guys are always on time. Roto-Rooter is who I call first.

Common Questions

Hydro Jetting FAQs

What’s the difference between snaking and hydro jetting?
Snaking (cabling) breaks through and pulls a clog to clear a path. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the entire pipe wall clean — removing grease, scale, and sludge so the line stays clear longer.
Is hydro jetting safe for my pipes?
For pipe in sound condition, yes. That’s why we assess the line first — and camera it when there’s any doubt — so we only jet lines that can take it.
Can jetting clear tree roots?
Yes. Jetting cuts roots and flushes the debris downstream. For heavy or repeat root intrusion, a camera inspection helps us see whether a repair is also needed.
Do you jet commercial and restaurant lines?
Absolutely — grease lines, kitchen drains, and apartment main lines are some of the most common jetting jobs we run across Eastern Idaho.
